What happens in a videofluoroscopy swallow study?
Our video explains what happens in a Barium swallow study. When a child has problems swallowing food or experiences choking or aspiration, the doctors or the Speech and Language Therapist can ask for a videofluoroscopy swallow study. It is an X-ray study of the swallow.
